Unforgotten Love
As I sat in my seat on the plane ride to my home town on business I looked in the window and saw my own reflection. It was night and the light over my head made my face visible in the glass. I am a Choctaw American Indian. I have a wide face and my hair is shoulder length, it is dark brown and I have dark brown eyes that are set wide on my face. Like so many women of my tribe, I have a stocky build. I grew up near the Oklahoma Reservation of my people. My family wanted to impress us with a respect for our heritage while they sent us to school with the Caucasian community. I had moved away from Oklahoma to establish myself in the business world.
